Adventure
Our sand might be famous but our water is just as fun! The waterways surrounding Winchester Bay offer countless ways to play like kayaking, swimming, surfing, windsurfing, and boating.
Adventurers of all abilities will find something to do–from a serene paddle on Lake Marie to an exhilarating surfing experience in the Pacific Ocean. Water temperatures can get quite frigid in the colder months but, with the right preparation, you can enjoy water sports all year.

Surf's Up All Year
Up here, the Pacific can be unforgiving but unforgettable when it comes to surfing. Experience (and wetsuits) recommended!
Calmer Waters
Pro tip: Ocean and lake waters are actually calmest in autumn, not summer like you’d expect!
